My name is Tianna O'Brien, and I am an educational leader who is passionate about ensuring every student has access to an exceptional education, regardless of the school they attend. I believe that strong district leadership is essential to creating the conditions where principals, teachers, and students can thrive. My passion for improving student outcomes, combined with a collaborative leadership style, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to service, has prepared me to support schools in achieving sustainable success.

Throughout my career, I have led with a clear set of core values: teamwork, excellence, integrity, determination, and perseverance. These values have guided my work as I have built strong school cultures, developed leadership capacity, strengthened instructional practices, and implemented systems that improve outcomes for all students. I believe the role of an Area Superintendent is to empower principals as instructional leaders, build coherence across schools, and ensure equitable access to high-quality teaching and learning. My leadership philosophy centers on developing people, building effective systems, and using data to drive continuous improvement while fostering innovation and collaboration.
